DUTIES: Research, design, plan, develop and evaluate network technologies; perform portfolio management of technical organization using Global System for Mobile communications (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS) and enhanced data rates for GSM evolution (EDGE); develop systems for information technologies (IT) technology networks, supporting deliverables for products and systems including profit and loss ownership and supporting executive leadership; provide mid to long term planning and analysis for solution recommendations for business issues that are the basis for capital deployment and allocation decisions; recommend strategic network architecture planning and network evolution policy decisions; prepare management report on proposed new technologies; work with marketing to develop implementation strategies for specific technology applications; determine future business and customer technology needs; develop and execute product testing and integration plans for new or updated products; perform planning, scheduling, resource allocation and assignments, critical path analysis, expense tracking, and actual vs. budget analysis; consult on user requirement definition, recommend business solutions/alternatives, assist in request for proposal (RFP) development and evaluations; determine future business and customer technology needs; track and monitor trends and developments in specific technologies; develop and execute product testing and integration plans for new or updated products; analyze and improve existing business processes, and assist client organizations in the identification, planning and implementation of business process solutions.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science followed by five years of progressive experience in the portfolio management of the technical organization using Global System for Mobile communications (GSM), general packet radio service (GPRS) and enhanced data rates for GSM evolution (EDGE); with one year experience therein to include developing systems for IT technology networks, supporting deliverables for products and systems including profit and loss ownership and supporting executive leadership.
