Title Printed Circuit Board Assembler
Job Description Eaton Corporation located in Watertown, WI has openings for Printed Circuit Board Assemblers on second shift. This position is responsible for work in any of the assembly, prep, shipping, receiving and repair areas within the business unit servicing both internal and external customers. This will include populating boards, testing, assembling, shipping functions, receiving functions, and repair of internal and external customer orders, as well as understanding the production systems. Duties of the position include: - Electronic assembly and repair - Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or follow work instructions - Use measuring equipment, test equipment and hand tools as needed - Read and interpret drawings and blueprints - Communicate daily with Production Supervisor - Use and understand computer programs and features - Understanding and control of inventory - Soldering and de-soldering - Maintain and support a safe, clean work environment - Facilitate ongoing continuous improvement in support of quality, productivity and growth objectives - May be asked to perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary
Job Qualifications
/Educational Requirements High school diploma or GED or HSED required. Basic math and reading skills required. Must possess solid reasoning skills and ability to act on these skills to ensure quality of work. Previous electronics manufacturing and hand-soldering experience is a plus. Ability to read and understand schematics and manufacturing drawings is preferred. Must be able to schedule time to meet production demands. Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to function in a team environment.
