Description
1. Supervise 2 auditors/analysts2. Perform reviews / analyze business processes to strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and eliminate redundant tasks / efforts. Reviews and analyses will be performed both within the Controller's Group and in areas outside the Controller.3. Document policies and procedures.4. Research accounting principles and recommend proper accounting treatment to management.5. Provide training to finance / non finance personnel.6. Perform operational audits, control reviews and other special projects, including independent testing and documentation of SOX Controls in support of the business and PepsiCo's external auditors.7. Communicate audit results to broader organization via presentations and other tools including scorecards.
Requirements:
1. BS Degree in Accounting.2. 4-5+ plus years of experience in financial accounting with some experience in public accounting. (Big Four experience preferred)3. CPA preferred.4. Supervisory experience5. High integrity, strong technical accounting skills (GAAP), and keen analytical skills.6. Ability to cut through details to summarize information, develop ideas and solve problems.7. Strong communication skills - excellent writing and effective and persuasive verbal skills.8. Manufacturing experience beneficial.9. Knowledge of SAP beneficial
