Responsibilities:
- Providing instrument support for a plywood manufacturing facility
- Troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical problems and failures
- Repairing and installing of new and existing equipment
- Providing support for numerous process control systems
- Troubleshooting and modifying existing Programmable Logic Controllers (and DC platformsPLC)
- Providing planning and technical support for the installation of new systems
Education:
Technical diploma or Associates degree in the electrical and/or instrumentation field
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial/manufacturing experience
- Experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) covered facility
Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of electrical/ mechanical troubleshooting
- Environmental compliance/ testing
- Strong drawing/ loop sheets knowledge
- Strong computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
