Process Engineer-Delta V/Manufacturing/System Design
Global leader in the healthcare industry has an immediate need in Los Angeles, CA for a Process Engineer. This is a perm position and offers relocation assistance for the right candidate. In addition to the salary listed this position qualifies for a bonus targeted at 8-10%. The position applies control systems engineering principles/practices, as well as other engineering and operational expertise to resolve difficult problems, from conception to final design with team input. We are looking fro a candidate that can plan, schedule and execute engineering project assignments for the entire LA plant with minimal guidance. Responsibilities:
-> Lead teams through the planning and execution of a small to medium size projects or defined piece of a larger project with minimum directions
-> Perform project engineering tasks including design, implementation, startup, commissioning, and validation phases
-> Develop user requirements, process functional specifications, system design specifications, system acceptance test plans, system commissioning plans, and validation protocols
-> Perform formal systems acceptance testing including software simulation and hardware and equipment acceptance
-> Perform hands on field installation, operational startup and commissioning activities
-> Provide technical support and troubleshooting functions to the plant operations
-> Independently plans, schedules and leads cross-functional team in detailed phases of the engineering work in a project
Requirements:
-> BS in Engineering
-> 5-8 years related experience and minimum 3 years hands on experience on DeltaV System or similar DCS System
-> Must have experience in project engineering and /or plant engineering in a manufacturing environment
