Process Engineer-Quality Control/Manufacturing/Process Improvement

Responsibilities:
-> Work on process improvements, reliability projects, and quality control issues
-> Assist facility with initiatives to improve highly automated manufacturing process
-> Investigate and identify opportunities for improving efficiency, quality, and costs - Conducting feasibility studies
-> Respond to day to day quality issues
-> Developing new processes on existing equipment
-> Must have sense of completing projects with a mid to long term focus. Ability to manage project deliverable, cost estimation, budget parameters and some supervision of personnel
Requirements:
-> BS in a technical field, preferably mechanical or chemical engineering or chemistry OR proven work expertise in quality and process manufacturing facility related to high speed production
-> Experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles, TPM, or JIPM experience is a major plus
-> Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office applications are needed
-> 5 or more years hands-on experience in manufacturing process improvement engineering with demonstrated success
-> Demonstrated experience leading process improvement projects, along with excellent communications skills and team leadership skills - ability to work with production employees and gain there trust
