BROAD FUNCTION: The Process Engineering Technician position assists in routine activities for the development and implementation of process techniques in manufacturing. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for following detailed direction to prepare changes, additions, and modifications, which will facilitate manufacturing. * Support manufacturing operations such as participating in meetings, troubleshooting and repairing equipment or process breakdowns. * Participate in concurrent design for manufacturability activities. * Supports efforts to help implement, monitor and improve process performance. * Maintain and improve documentation. * Develop, document and standardize floor procedures to facilitate production. * Comply with and support all department and corporate policies and procedures, included but not limited to safety, security, ESD, and OSHA guidelines.Work to develop vendor relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust and integrity. * Must be eligible to work on defense and satellite programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card'). * Perform all other related duties as assigned. Required Skills
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Capability for designing and analyzing experiments. * Ability to interface with customers/vendors and deal with difficult issues. * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. * Machine vision and/or automation experience. * Strong project management, structured problem solving, and computer skills. (MS Office, specifically Excel). * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Required Experience
