Job Description Summary: Summary:
Reporting to the Plating & Processing Supervisor, Night Shift as the Process Technician - Ti Cad / Cad Plating, you will be responsible for maintaining demand for Production and / or R&O requirements. This is a 3rd shift - midnights position (11PM to 7AM).
Primary responsibilities:
. Ti-Cad plating and or Brush Cad plating of aircraft components, including preparation of components, to customer specifications and development of work techniques, could include Masking also. . Part fixturing, loading and unloading . Tank/chemistry maintenance and associated tooling . Process Monthly Process Control test panels . Act as a cross functional team member and support other plating applications as requested . Participate in lean initiatives (i.e. 5S, TPM, process improvement teams) . Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts . Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures . Perform other duties as required
Basic Qualifications: Qualifications: . Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and two (2) years at the Goodrich Trainee 00 level or two or more years (2+) prior outside Processing experience. . Must have 2 years minimum prior Ti-Cad experience. . Process chemistry background . Sound working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers and elcometers . Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and work with various hand tools . Strong understanding of WHMIS . Demonstrated ability to work as a cross-functional employee Goodrich Core Foundation Competencies including Ethics, Values, Integrity and Trust . Successful candidate must meet all requirements for ITAR and CCGP . Experience with overhead crane preferred.
