Process Technician
Due to our growth, Nifco America is currently looking for an experienced Process Technician for our Lavergne, TN faciltiy. We are a automotive parts plastic injection molding facility with high expectations in customer satisfaction and quality performance. We are looking for candidates with experience in the following:
Perform rigorous mold tryouts.
Establish operating parameters.
Ensure all mold changes are done efficiently and safely and assist in process improvements
Verify that existing tools meet or exceed quoted cycle times and inform management or engineering of any problems
Set up secondary equipment and assist in process improvements
Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specs using calipers and micrometers
Visually inspect parts for nonconformities
Respond to equipment alarms and process control signals

Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to read and understand instructions in the English language
Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language to exchange process and technical information with Manufacturing associates and management
Must be able to concentrate effectively on both detailed and broad tasks to successfully execute essential functions
Must be able to read blueprints
Must be able to accurately calculate intermediate mathematical problems including averages
