Process Technician
Nesco Resource has partnered with a progressive, plastic injection molding company located in London, Ohio is seeking an experienced plastic Process Technician to support our growing business. The individual selected must have a proven ability to start-up and shutdown large tonnage injection molding machines (IMMs). Candidate is to be able to sample and determine the process parameters for new molds, diagnose and countermeasure molding defects and perform color changes.

Requirements:
Required experience/education:
Thorough understanding of the plastic injection molding processing.
Minimum 2 years on the job experience as a Process Technician or Process Engineer.
Ability to start, stop, color change, mold change and process the IMMs per parameters.
Complete project based duties as assigned (team based activities).
Experience in safe operation of overhead crane.
Other helpful experience/training:
Training on Paulson or RJG (Scientific Molding) software.
Completion of additional plastics coursework at a technical school or college.
Training on Star or other similar picker robots.
Building and repairing end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for robots.
Robot programming for EOAT.
Ability to set and pull injection molds(mold changes)
Ability to track scrap and record downtime accurately.
