Process Technician
This is a third shift position. You will train on first shift.
Will set controls to predetermine settings for plastic processing. Review parameters when problems arise and make adjustments. Will document process changes and make recommendations for improvement. Will monitor and improve QOS measurable, including but not limited to: set-up time,press downtime categories, press utilization,scarp parts,PPM and material yield. Will perform mold/insert changes in a timely manner.
Need to have the ability to follow demonstrated steps and perform simple adjusting to produce to a general specification. May inspect and test completed product. Requires the ability to work with information for all the different departments.
Requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs.,read blue prints, and experience in Scientific Molding
(RJG) principles to process and trouble shooting. Master Molder 1 is a plus.
