Procurement Analyst 2
Northrop Grumman Technical Services in Albuquerque, NM is looking for a Procurement Analyst 2 who will source and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Confers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. May prepare bid packages.
Basic Qualifications: -Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 3 Years with Bachelors and relative experience; 1 Year with Masters and relative experience
Preferred Qualifications: -Ability to follow extensive policies and procedures. Aptitude to act as a Business Advisor on Global Supply Chain issues. Ability to have work reviewed by Peers for compliance. Capability to track supplier performance and report information as required for specific data calls. Ability to provide timely, accurate, and professional communication. Skilled with automated Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP and Business Warehouse.
