Procurement Cost Analyst 3\4
Join our challenging and exciting team in Supplier Management Finance where you will conduct a variety of different tasks in support of all cost and price analyses for all of Boeing aircraft platforms. Be Boeings eyes and ears of our expansive world-wide supply chain. This level 3/4 hub requisition for our organization purchases everything from rivets to major body sections within our product commodities. Most positions are in Everett; however there are also opportunities at Auburn and Renton. Candidates will support the procurement organization as a subject matter expert providing expertise in all phases of estimate creation, strategy development and negotiations internally and externally.
The successful candidate will apply extensive knowledge to conduct and develop complex cost/price analyses using historical information, statistical tools, market trend data, parametric models and detail estimates from drawings, engineering work statement, configuration memos and high-level statements of work. Successful candidate will prepare priced bill of material estimate, analyzes material cost, schedule and performance data and develops Estimate at Complete (EAC).
The successful candidate will review Statement of Work (SOW) packages and develop pricing instructions, matrices and bid instructions for the Request for Quote/Request for Proposal (RFQ/RFP) process and conduct financial, operational, proposal and procedural audits of supplier data and systems. Successful candidates will roll-up division estimates and track performance. Successful candidate will provide cost and/or price information to cross-functional teams, management and customers. They will perform various economic analysis; net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), return on investment (ROI) and/or break-even analysis and present results to cross-functional teams, management and customers. Candidates will understand how to put together a business plan and be able to articulate to upper management with a positive outlook and attitude. The completion of all work will be in compliance with all company policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements. Functional excellence is the norm.
Successful Candidate will work in a team environment preparing supplier strategies and leading price negotiations with our suppliers for unique and complex proposals. The candidate will serve as a consultant to management and designated external spokesperson for the organization on significant matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives. The ability to gather complex data, complete quantitative analysis and effectively communicate to upper management is a must.

Candidate must have excellent presentation skills be very proficient with excel and power point and must be able to use the Microsoft suite of tools. Candidate will be able to quickly apply these skills to any and all projects.

Typical Education/Experience

Domestic and/or International travel may be required. Preferred candidates will possess a manufacturing background and an educational emphasis in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Technology. Furthermore, the preferred candidate will be able to apply Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering methods and techniques in the analysis of supplier proposals. Familiarity or general knowledge in aerospace aftermarket/Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) related services such as maintenance training, reliability programs, and warranty.
