Production / Assembly Specialist
Currently working with a growing company to recruit talented and motivated individuals for multiple production positions starting immediately.
Preparation, fabrication and assembly of materials and components using various types of machinery and hand tools including cutting devices, scissors, knifes
Must have the ability and willingness to follow verbal and written direction(s)
Must have the ability to alter materials in accordance with specific patterns and dimensions
Must have the ability to inspect materials and products being assembled
Must pay attention to details of the product in an effort to complete the assignment with a minimum of scrap error and maintain highest quality of production
Must be flexible and willing to be cross trained in other department(s) if required
Must be able to work in a team environment to meet department goals
Requirements:
Manual Dexterity and Flexibility - The ability to comfortably and quickly move your hands and arms Must be able to easily and quickly grasp, manipulate, or assemble material product
Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
Wrist-Finger Speed - The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to maintain a fast and continuous pace
Required to provide at least 2 positive business references
Required to pass a drug screen and submit to a background check
Must be analytically-minded and process-oriented
Must be comfortable asking questions in order to successfully master each varying task
MUST be familiar with industrial environments and/or comfortable with production as well as adaptable to various machinery and production output
