Position Responsibilities:
.Direct and coordinate site operation within company policies and procedures. .Maintain FAR 145 site requirements. .Maintain a clean and safe plant using 5S. .Maintain and direct plant policies and procedures as defined by Goodrich. .Responsible for plant production goals and yearly Policy Deployment objectives as defined by the Director of Operations. .Foster a well-trained and motivated staff, hourly and salary. .Work with Shared services in maintaining metrics defined by the Director of Operations. .Responsible for maintaining all shift production schedules/goals. .Support training of supervisory/leads on site. .Conduct employee performance reviews Quarterly. .Schedule and conduct plant meetings monthly using Policy Deployment Peer review. .Responsible for supporting product quality for the site as well as meeting First Pass Yield objectives. .Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings, as required. (10% travel) .Lead the site through the use of Lean Tools, included in but not limited to Takt Time, Percent loading charts, LDMS, etc. .Managing the financial budget for the site. .Support Process Improvement through the use of Continuous Improvement. This includes leading Lean Events at the site. .Support Sales Group in meeting the customer requirements as prescribed by the Customer Contract. .Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and ten years related experience.
Preferred: SAP knowledge Lean or Six Sigma 5 years MRO/MFG experience % Travel Required: < 10%
