Production Operator (Granulation)
Responsible for operating a limited number of special purpose machines or industrial equipment to specifications on production basis in granulation, coating, encapsulation or compression by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operates a limited number of machines, engages feed, and observes operation. Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Operates a limited number of machines, engages feed, and observes operation. Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
Responsible for the disassembling, cleaning, a limited number of production equipment and space for new product batches in more than one production sub-department
Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications. Places loose or packaged material on scales and adds or removes portions of material to obtain specified weight.
Sorts weighed materials into designated bins or containers, according to weight or type. Transfers weighed materials to production or storage areas. Records weight of materials used for production records, or maintains perpetual inventory of materials used and on hand.
Understand and adhere to all cGMP and FDA Regulations, follow all Company Safety Rules and promote positive Safety Culture.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education required: HS Diploma or equivalent
Number of years of experience required: 1 year
