Production Planner - Aerospace Industry
Production Planner for the manufacturing of electronics (printed circuit boards) and electromechanical assemblies used in high frequency communication systems in accordance to military standards.
Maintains MRP accuracy, validates and executes Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) order signals by generating and releasing manufacturing orders.
Follows up on orders to ensure material is available to support Production Operations schedules.
Ensure kits are issued and tracked through build and test in accordance to program schedules.
Report daily status to program team and identify issues /barriers that need resolution. Update shop work orders on changes to ensure accuracy of our as built configuration.
Requires a Bachelors Degree or High School with materials/purchasing and manufacturing operations experience or equivalent and 2 to 4 years materials/purchasing, MRP, and manufacturing operations experience in related field. Familiar with engineering design, MRP functionality, manufacturing processes, and procurement practices for circuit card assembly.
