Production Supervisor
Leads team members to identify, manage, and execute the plants process improvement opportunities. Manages production staff to attain production and quality goals. Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues. Ensures production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team oriented work force in order to improve business results.
Position Responsibilities
Under the direction of a Production Manager, this position is responsible for either processing or packaging of food in a manufacturing environment. Incumbent will have responsibility to achieve productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety and employee relation objectives through both individual and team contributions. Provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on the job assignments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree Required
Minimun 3 years experience supervising hourly teams required
Ability to work 2nd shift required
SAP, Thermal Processing, and Union Expereince Preferred
