Production Supervisor-Manufacturing/Six Sigma/Quality
We are actively searching for a Third Shift Production Supervisor for a client located in Northern Mississippi. Salary will be based on candidates experience and knowledge and differential pay is offered for this position. Local candidates are only being considered at this time.
Responsibilities:
-> To supervisor and/or manage a team of professionals and to ensure manufactured products and processes meet company and OSHA guidelines -> Maintain the quality standards and to employ lean manufacturing process to keep production standards and safety up and to reduce costs when possible -> The identification, prioritization, and implementation of effective operations improvement plans -> Manage and meet with team members on a one on one basis to review performance and attitude topics -> Training and mentoring of Team Leaders in the department
Requirements:
-> An Associate's degree in a related field, Bachelor's degree preferred, or a minimum of seven years of relevant experience -> A minimum of five years of manufacturing experience in a supervisory capacity in the automotive industry -> Solid manufacturing experience, ideally in the automotive, and must have high volume experience -> Must be able to work night shift, and must be able to work a periodic weekend shift as required -> Must attend management approved training courses, which include customer specific training requirements -> Good communication skills and good organizational skills are a must -> Must have a positive attitude and be able to positively train and mentor Team Leaders
