Now interviewing. Leading international communications manufacturer seeks a Production Controls Lead in Northeast Texas. Selected candidate will supervise the operation of the Production Planning department. Local Candidates strongly preferred. This is a full time salary exempt position. Serious applicants only!
Responsibilities:
-> Formulates, distributes, and enforces internal guidelines and procedures -> Promotes quality, safety, productivity and positive employee development -> Creates and maintains departmental job descriptions, and employee performance appraisals -> Maintains departmental costs and budgets -> Assigns work and overtime as required, and Performs other related duties as assigned -> Provide support to production personnel in terms of work order documentation or revision levels -> Track/expedite work through facility in order to achieve production objectives -> Maintain SAMFG inventory levels
Requirements:
-> Associate Degree with previous operations management experience -> Minimum four years experience in operations or production supervision or lead role of a manufacturing environment -> Ability to interact comfortably, effectively, and professionally with all departments at all levels -> Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize several jobs and work under pressure -> Ability to see the ?big picture" and to persuade or influence others -> Ability to community clearly and effectively to train others and manage and resolve conflict -> Must be able to estimate set-up time, run time, and lead time based on similar or actual values or personal experience -> Ability to work overtime as required -> Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
