We are seeking an organized, detail oriented, team-builder to supervise production employees at the poultry processing facility in Petaluma. This individual will also be responsible to ensure compliance with all company policies including HACCP, GMPs, and the Safety Program.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Supervise the designated production area.
Ensure safe and sanitary environment to process poultry products.
Train/coach team members and new employees on job functions and safe practices.
Establish and adjust procedures to meet production schedules, production efficiencies and budget objectives.
Enforce Company policies and practices.
Oversee cost effective use of equipment and supplies.
Maintain time and production records.
Requirements:
Education/Experience required:
Position typically requires a minimum of three years of progressive experience or training.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs and HACCP.
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills required, including the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, reach and use hands to feel objects, tools and controls. Ability to live or move 10 to 50 lb boxes and materials regularly.
Processing plant environment - areas have cold and wet conditions.
Competitive salary - negotiable based on experience and excellent benefit program.
