OEM Division Position Available
Production Supervisor
Dakota Fluid Power, Inc., a regional leader in Hydraulic sales, service and repair,
is looking for an individual to fill an opening in our OEM Division located in
Sioux Falls for a Production Supervisor.
Candidates should be Friendly, Energetic, Outgoing and able to Multi-Task in a fast
paced yet relaxed work environment.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule and manage building of electronic assemblies such as harnesses, panels, and box builds
Direct the daily activities of electrical assemblers
Support the development and maintenance of hardcopy and electronic production documentation
Identify, and resolve nonconforming product and material issues using quality assurance processes
Analyze and recommend changes to manpower and equipment to maintain production schedules
Responsible for the training and professional development of electrical assemblers including providing performance evaluations
Develop automated tests for new harness assemblies
Utilize lean concepts to continuously improve production processes
Perform other duties as required

Strong Organizational Skills
Excellent customer service/people skills
Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Teamwork oriented
Lean manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in production type environment
