Job Description Summary: The Production Support Coordinator (PSC) will be responsible for the master scheduling activities for the manufacturing areas at GAM (Goodrich Aerospace de Mexico). The PSC will release production, and some spares orders via SAP, and track and update the orders on a daily basis in SAP until completed and delivered on-dock at the customer. The PSC will also ensure that all Standard Work is being followed and will help develop a MRP strategy for current and future on load production. The PSC must embrace and use the tools of Lean Manufacturing on a sustained basis in order to manage areas of responsibility while monitoring system health measures daily and taking the lead to correct issues in a timely manner that ensures complete resolution. He or She will also be responsible for coordinating expedited delivery of customer impacts, or potential customer impacts. The PSC will also be required to partner with other team members in supporting continuous improvement (CI) activities, such as reducing working capital, and generating production controls. Basic Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or relevant discipline and must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in production control, coordination or support position. Experience working in a fast paced detailed parts manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication environment is ideal. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing including working in an environment that embraces the daily use of lean tools is preferred. Must demonstrate strong skills with MS Office applications and other company systems i.e. SAP. Must have the ability to enhance and support working in a team environment. % Travel Required: 10 - 20%
