Production Technician
Summary
Perform various duties to test, troubleshoot and repair any basic electromechanical products.
Job Responsibilities
Must be able to read and understand diagnostic data
Work within limits of prescribed procedures
Work from specifications, technical manuals, schematics and written/verbal instructions
Use a variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators and other input/output electronic test devices.
Discuss technical problems with Supervisor.
Compile and records test results
Requirements:
Skill Requirements:
Good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
Enjoys contributing to a diverse manufacturing group.
Computer skills and literacy a must
Demonstrate proficiency with complex test instruments (dual trace oscilloscopes, DVM, network analyzers, signal generators, etc) a plus.
Previous experience with a hazard communications program (i.e. Health & Safety) a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Must be a highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently with minimum supervision and the ability to work in fast paced environment.
