Job Responsibilities Include: * Mechanical design and development of semi-custom, food handling and processing equipment. * Both model and project responsibility from sales hand-off thru installation drawings. * Provide technical support to other team members including purchasing, manufacturing, sales, service and the customer. * Primary objective is meeting project deadlines and budgets with the world class quality HEAT AND CONTROL is known for. * Limited overnight travel possible at the beginning and/or end of project, but most work will be done at our offices in Galesburg, ILL.
Education/Job History/Skills Required Include: * B.S. degree in Engineering preferred, but other technical degree and/or suitable experience would also be acceptable. * 3+ years food equipment or other machinery design experience in a manufacturing environment. * Proficiency with AutoCAD 2000-2004 is required, (Inventor or Mechanical Desktop a plus) * MS Office, especially Word and Excel, a plus. * SAP skills a plus, but we will train.
