Large company has immediate need for multiple Lead Project Engineers with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics and experience in sheet metal design and fabrication preferred. Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is preferred. These are contract assignments that will require some business related travel.
Responsibilities:
-> Will provide direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives -> Work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity -> Resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning -> Identifies customers requirement (technical/products problems, execution issues) and attends customer meetings (kick off, coordination review, close out etc.) -> Leads internal design activities and technical decisions and participates in design reviews with the engineering team -> Generates Bill of Material for the assigned project and prepares the Quality Control Plan -> Manages and controls the engineering hours allocated to the job and drawing list to be submitted to customers -> Supports fabrication of equipment including troubleshooting, product improvement, and product inspection
Requirements:
-> Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics -> Familiarity with sheet metal design and fabrication is preferred -> Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is preferred -> Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred -> Sound analytical and problem solving skills -> Strong oral and written communication skills plus strong interpersonal and leadership skills -> Requires proven ability to interact with customers successfully -> Multiple language proficiency is desired
