Project Manager-Mechanical Engineer/ASME/PE
|
Project Manager / Mechanical Engineer position in the north Atlanta area with a full service engineering company (design, fabrication, installation). Direct hire position with some relocation assistance for well-qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
-> Full cycle Project Management of industrial combustion equipment including boilers and cogeneration systems
-> Design review, scheduling, and client interface
-> Develop P&ID's and PFD's
-> Coordination of procurement, fabrication, and construction
-> Handle technical decisions on a daily basis
-> Travel to various assignments approximately 10%-15% of time
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
-> Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required
-> A minimum of 15 years design experience
-> Extensive experience with conveying systems, pump and piping systems, fan and ducting systems, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems
-> Experience in wood fire boilers and boiler systems
-> Working knowledge of ASME codes, Section I, Section VIII, 31.1, and 31.3
-> Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, Word, and Excel
-> Working knowledge of metal fabrication and construction techniques
-> Approximately 10% -15% domestic travel
