Project Manager-Oil & Gas Industry/Engineering, Construction/GTL, LNG, 3D Design Tools
Project Engineering Manager with 8+ years total engineering experience with a total at least 2+ years of this experience in a supervisory capacity in the oil, gas, and chemicals industry needed for a leading provider of engineering, construction and technical services. This is a permanent opportunity in Houston Texas.
Responsibilities:
-> Basic knowledge of managing projects of modest size and complexity
-> Basic knowledge of working with Chief Discipline Engineers and Supervising Discipline Engineers (project leads) to determine man-hour requirements and schedules for each discipline consistent with the project requirements and schedule
-> Makes arrangements with Chief Discipline Engineers for staffing of projects with qualified personnel
-> Basic knowledge of coordinating the technical activities among disciplines on the project and identifies and ensures compliance with regulatory, licensing and state requirements
-> Conducts the design of technically sound, safe, and operable plants with a high degree of reliability
-> Reviews engineering performance on the project to ensure quality, conformance with design basis and completeness of engineering tasks
-> Monitors adherence to manpower estimates and schedules
Requirements:
-> Bachelor Degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from a four-year accredited college or university
-> Must have 8+ years total engineering experience with 2+ years of this experience in a supervisory capacity
-> Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) by exam
-> Travel when necessary
