Project Manager-Power Plant/Maintenance/Projects
Engineering services client is looking for a Project Manager to manage multiple $2-12 million power plant maintenance services projects. You need 10+ years of experience working for a Utility, OEM, or Engineering company involved in power plant or process plant maintenance type projects. The ideal candidate will be a Project Manager with experience on boiler EPC or Maintenance projects, but our client may consider candidates that were managing maintenance projects in an operating power or process plant.
Responsibilities:
-> As the a Project Manager, you will be the Single Point of Commercial Contact, internally and externally for your projects
-> Ultimately you will be responsible for the Project?s HSE quality, technical and commercial progress, results and compliance with contract requirements
-> Prepare the Project Execution Plan (PEP) document
-> Administer the schedule and performance liquidated damages (LD) and incentive requirements
-> Responsible for the project by ensuring performance, schedule and budget compliance
-> Participate in Bid Evaluations and the selection of vendors/suppliers prior to issuance of the Purchase Order
-> Administer, control and approve internal and external Contract Change Orders
-> Administer contract erection assistance requirements and commissioning and performance testing requirements
-> Monitor warranty phase compliance and close out any back charges
Requirements:
-> 10+ years of experience working for a Utility, OEM, or Engineering company involved in power plant or process plant maintenance type projects
-> Ideal candidate will be a Project Manager with experience managing boiler EPC or Maintenance projects
-> A BSME or similar Engineering degree
-> If no experience working for an EPC or OEM, our client may consider candidates that have experience managing maintenance projects in an operating power or process plant
