PW Military Programs CIPT (Program Manager)

Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
The Engine & Control Systems organization is currently seeking an experienced, high intensity, customer focused technical CIPT lead (Program Manager) to direct engine controls development & production programs for military applications.
Primary responsibilities include management of multiple production engine control tasks, supporting ongoing technical investigations and being primary Hamilton Sundstrand interface to customer(s). Additional responsibilities include interfacing with HS senior leadership, managing customer relationships, developing and managing program schedules and budgets, EVMS leadership over large military type budgets across multiple engineering disciplines and communicating the policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to cross-functional teams.
The CIPT lead will:
- Manage programs to meet contractual requirements, including delivery schedules, cost parameters, technical specifications, and overall business objectives. This responsibility is inclusive of ensuring program execution results in program outcomes meeting HS business plans as well.
- Take on an overall leadership role within E&CS to assist peer and senior leaders in driving overall business objectives.
- Serve as the primary interface between Hamilton Sundstrand and our customer.
- Minimum of five years experience leading engineering and/or manufacturing teams or as a business functional manager required, eight years preferred.
- Minimum five years experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry required.
- Required skills at conflict resolution, risk management and the resolution of issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication required to support the completion of customer and management technical and business presentations, proposals, and reports.
Travel required is estimated at 20%
