Custom component parts supplier is actively searching for a Quality Control Technician for their Northern, NJ operation.
Responsibilities:
-> Perform incoming dimensional and visual inspection of specialty component parts for original-equipment-manufacturers (OEM) in the automotive, power tools and consumer products industries -> Handle necessary quality control (QC) paperwork for the company -> Always striving for ways to improve product quality
Requirements:
-> Previous quality control experience that involved dimensional and visual inspection of component parts -> Skilled in the use of inspection equipment such as: Coordinate Measuring Machines - CMM, vernier calipers, thread plug and ring gages, optical comparators, Rockwell hardness testers, and surface testers -> Proven experience and ability to compile Production Part Approval Process - PPAP, First Piece Inspection - FPI?s and other QC paperwork -> Mechanically inclined -> Technical Associate's Degree preferred
