Quality Analyst 1
Assists the Project Quality Office Manager in implementing the Quality Control Program / Quality Management System. Performs scheduled and unscheduled internal quality audits, inspections, and assists with developing and implementing corrective preventative action / assistance and other tasks supporting administrative and operational areas of the contract. Performs quality program related tasks, functions, and assists project administrative and functional managers / supervisors to ensure ISO 9001-2008 standardization certification is achieved and sustained. Performs tasks supporting Six Sigma Projects, Continuous Improvement Process. Interacts with internal / external customers, Government counterparts, key managers, subordinate employees, and subcontractors in fostering relationships, integration, and teamwork, ensuring that the contract goals are understood, achieved, and assessed by the customer as being outstanding. Ensures compliance with all required USG, State, Company safety, environmental, and quality standards, to include project operating procedures and policies. Assists or manages the customer and employee comment / suggestion / survey programs that provide feedback to customers, USG, and Project Managers/Supervisors/Employees of customer satisfaction / corrective actions and results. Performs other duties as required. Functions as the SME for Army regulations, documentation and information gathering from Army STAMIS system. (I.e. SAMS IE, SAMS 1E, LIW).
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years in quality field and ISO Standard Auditing.
- Must have an extensive working knowledge of Army Rules and Regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a United States Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
*Manager may consider comparable years of relevant experience in lieu of education.*
Preferred Qualifications: Government Contracting experience preferred, Six Sigma desirable attribute, familiarity with Army STAMIS systems
ASQ Certifications with CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) preferred.
