Quality Analyst (Chemist)
The Analysts will perform and document testing to support routine analysis of utility, raw material, in-process, finished product, and stability samples. The incumbents will assure individual compliance with the DEA and FDA regulations, cGMP’s and applicable department programs, including training, documentation, standard operating procedures as well as company’s policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and procedures
· Prepare standard and sample solutions as required by test methods
· Operate general analytical instruments during testing, (i.e. HPLC, GC)
· Perform wet chemistry tests
· Maintain appropriate documentation as required by laboratory SOPs
· Comply with good housekeeping and safety practices
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related science from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 1-4 years related experience in a regulated laboratory
Prefer at least some commercial laboratory experience
Preferably candidates will have had at least 2 years of pharmaceutical QC laboratory experience
An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.
