Quality Assurance Engineer - Design Test Engineer & Coordinator
Job Responsibilities As a Quality Assurance Engineer for Miller Electric, you will communicate project or program status, work activities and potential problems to supervisors, project members and other team members as appropriate.
Additional responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Engineer include: * Executing relevant projects within the scope of reliability and third party testing * Calculating reliability factors * Monitoring project plans and status * Ensuring scheduling or related in-house and outsourced testing * Developing a long-term durability testing program Requirements
Job Requirements As a Miller Electric Quality Assurance Engineer, you must possess ample knowledge relating to statistics and probability theories in order to calculate the reliability factors that determine product design requirements and the most effective methods of product testing. You must also have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Additional requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer include: * B.S. in Engineering (Prefer strong electrical power conversion knowledge) * Minimum 3 years of experience in reliability and product testing * Ability and aptitude to interpret technical documents and apply information to testing * Familiarity with Reliability Testing Equipment, a plus * Possessing Six-sigma in Quality and/or Reliability Engineer Certification, a plus
