Develops test strategies, test cases and test plans and executes quality assurance tasks and testing to ensure the applications and EDW products and/or releases are in compliance with the standards of the ential Job Functions* Consults members of the Data Warehouse Team to ensure the technical development life cycle is completed with the highest standards. Provides leadership to the IT Quality Assurance Analyst team.* Develops and establishes quality assurance standards and best practices* Documents, tracks and communicates data issues and remediation efforts leveraging change control procedures and business rules of the data.* Partners with development team to ensure that data rules are being supported and properly maintained.* Conducts data analysis and any related investigations as part of the QA testing processes.* Develops SQL scripts and other procedures to validate ETL.* Develops or reviews (as appropriate) test scripts based off of test cases; Runs test scripts, documents and communicates results.* Thorough knowledge of QA methodologies, testing procedures and defect management.* Experience with the following tools an asset: Quality Center, Informatica and other ETL tools, Teradata Experience7 - 10 years experience in the Information Services field, focusing in Systems Analysis and Design, or Data Quality and Quality Assurance activities.
