Amcor Rigid Plastics is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for their Youngsville, NC facility. Individual is responsible for directing the quality assurance program for the plant, supervising the quality control lead and technicians in performance of duties and implementing, maintaining and modifying the plant’s quality management system to improve business operating systems and meet the requirements of customer and best practice audits. You will also assist with the corrective action of quality related problems, start-up of new products/processes and troubleshooting technical problems. Requirements:
Requires five years related experience in a quality assurance leadership role in a manufacturing organization, experience in molding manufacturing, knowledge of SPC, blueprints, and problem solving techniques and experience with ISO 9000/QS 9000 quality systems. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and American Society for Quality, ASQ, Certified Quality Engineer, CQE, and /or Certified Quality Manager, CQM. preferred.
