An international food products manufacturer located in the MN, area is currently searching for a Quality Assurance Supervisor. This position will report to the Quality Manager and be responsible for overseeing a team of Quality technicians on an assigned shift.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in QA/QC operations, HACCP, GMP's and laboratory supervision along with a demonstrated track record of achievement.
Experience or knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma processes, 5S, or similar trainings is desired.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with technical concentration (food science, chemistry, biology, or microbiology) is strongly preferred. 3+ years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing setting. Ability to work assigned shift, Strong team building skills and the ability to lead a diverse work group in a fast paced setting. Proficient in Windows environment: MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) is a plus.
