A growing manufacturer with facilities in Salt Lake City is looking for a Quality Technician. Job Duties: ? Maintains the calibration system. Coordinate with all departments to schedule equipment due for calibration. Maintains list of all equipment and make sure that it is appropriately labeled with calibration status (i.e., calibration not required, calibration date, etc.). Review and update the current calibration records and database for accuracy. ? Able to understand and perform sampling plans. ? Able to read, understand component drawings and perform dimensional measurements. ? Able to use dimensional measuring devices (i.e. ruler, caliper, micrometer) 5. Responsible for generation and maintaining in-house procedures, manuals, standards and forms as needed. ? Perform incoming and in-process inspections of components. ? Any other projects or tasks as required and assigned. ? Assists with compliance to FDA regulations, EU directives, Canadian MDD, and other regulatory agencies. ? Investigate customer complaint products ? Write investigation report for returned products ? Create and maintain document changes within the ?ECO? system ? Maintain approved (released) documents within Document Control ? Maintain and update the Document Control database. ? Other activities within Document Control Job Requirements: ? High school diploma or GED ? Minimum 1 year of experience with following: Medical Device Quality Systems (QSR) ? Experience with ISO 13485. FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements (CGMP) ? Must have the skills to interact well with all departments and employees ? Organizational skills should be excellent ? Good troubleshooting capabilities are required ? Basic computer skills are required; able to use Microsoft Excel and Word document files ? Some lifting required up to 50 lbs This is a temp-to-hire position that pays $12-14 per hour DOE.
