Quality Engineer
Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, an industry leading distributor of Aerospace products, is seeking a Quality Engineer experienced in part measurement, documentation and addressing customer requirements. The Primary function of the position is to provide outstanding service to customers while operating within established procedures.
Trelleborg is seeking qualified applicants for a Quality Engineer with FAI and PPAP experience, located in Colmar, PA (suburb of Philadelphia, PA).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Part measurement and variability identification
Effectively resolve issues arising from external quality complaints and communicate with both customers and vendors regarding their status
Review and approve documents requiring quality engineering analysis
Participate in internal quality audits, including all follow up actions
Promote and implement continuous improvement practices with the goal of streamlining internal processes and procedures
Ensure compliance with FAI or PPAP processes as required
Knowledge of, or practical experience with DFMEA, PFMEA and Process Control Plans
Communicate and participate in a complete team environment
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
2 to 5 years experience in a Quality-related position
Bachelor’s Degree, or Associates degree in active pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field required
Experience with FAI/PPAP or APQP processes required
Ability to read blueprints and solid math skills
Knowledge of ISO 9000 / AS 9100 / TS 16949
Current references
US citizenship (ITAR requirements)
