TITLE: Quality Engineer

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS Degree in Engineering, or related field with 8 or more years experience in automotive quality

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead APQP activities and create PPAP’s

Manage Customer Complaints and Corrective Actions

Support continuous improvement through Kaizen

Support Product validation, receiving inspection, calibration, and conformance testing programs.

Ability to work in a team environment

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

Leadership skills – able to work with multi-cultural groups.

Highly motivated and high energy level.

Solid problem solving skills using a variety of statistical and root cause tools

Experience with lean production concepts and tools.

Flexible working hours, overtime and travel requirements.

Manufacturing process experience with CNC machining, complex assembly, and/or coating processes.

OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
