We are seeking a highly-ambitious Quality Engineer Specialist -- Electrical/Wiring who will be based in our Windsor Assembly Plant in Windsor, Ontario.

The Quality Engineer Specialist - Electrical/Wiring is responsible for resolving quality issues for Chrysler, Dodge and Lancia Minivan for worldwide markets. Respond to product quality issues utilizing data and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods to drive problem solving activities within the Windsor Assembly Plant. Monitor key quality indicators and lead root cause analysis to validate quality goals. Coordinate implementation of product and process changes. Lead responsible for electrical and wiring problems.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• Minimum 5-8 years of automotive engineering experience with 5 years in manufacturing, engineering or quality
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to build solid partnerships both internally/externally
• Experience with resolving build issues and quality problems, warranty etc.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, high volume production environment while remaining flexible
• Experience with electrical systems and wiring
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree a plus
• Expertise in planning, prioritizing, and goal setting including the ability to manage multiple projects, determine project urgency, create detailed action plans and organize schedules, people and tasks
• Experience with Black Belt and 6-Sigma problem solving methods
• Previous experience with launching new products in a manufacturing environment is an asset
