We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. Quality Inspector At Array Products the Quality Inspector must adhere to all company polices as required in the Employee Handbook. Along with these polices and quality and production requirements that are to be met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Perform first article and in process inspection of products to assure conformance to customer drawings and specifications. · Verify specified dimensions of products with precision measuring instruments. · Able to read and interpret blue prints accurately. · Able to use and read micrometer to .0001”. · Able to set up and use dial bores. · Able to use height gage with different set ups. · Knowledge on use of sine plate. · Able to calibrate instruments used in precision measurement and record in computer system. · Able to use computer efficiently. · Accurately record dimensions on an inspection report. · Knowledge of geometrical dimensioning & Tolerancing. · Able to repair and calibrate indicators and dial calipers. · Knowledgeable of all applicable types of threads. · Able to efficiently use Machinist’s Handbook. · Able to work with minimal supervision. Requirements
Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED. Two (2) years experience in shipping and quality management system.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Internet software and Order processing systems.
