Quality Production Specialist 3
Performs all phases of inspection on operational Chinook H47 aircraft. Inspects tools, components, assemblies, exotic materials, fixtures, instruments, and other large or complex parts for compliance with established specifications and operational requirements. Follows blue prints, technical planning manuals, special inspections and written instructions to set up in-process and final inspections. Uses various standard inspection, precision inspection instruments and equipment to perform inspections of aircraft structure, flight controls, power plants, armament, electrical, avionics, and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance to Engineering, Contract requirements and Military or FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) specifications. Performs pre-flight, post-flight and special inspections and maintains historical records per FAA, Army or Boeing requirements. Knowledgeable in all aspects of the Army Maintenance Quality processes as defined in the IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual), TAMMS-A (The Army Maintenance Management System Aviation) Manuals to include Army Green Books. Works with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Customer personnel to identify and document results of inspections to include acceptance or rejection data and documentation of nonconformance. Expected to help as needed in mechanical, electrical, or airframe installation, removal, rework and repair.

Prefer working knowledge of Mesa production policies and procedures and all aspects of Boeing Quality processes, to include EPAR, (Electronic Product Assurance Record), ERIP, (Electronic Request for Inspection/Purge), GOLD, (Government On- Line Data). Requires working in tight areas on the aircraft. Able to climb up and down as required to perform tasks on aircraft without work stands. Must remain alert and safety sensitive at all times; do to the high danger risks of working in the Flight Test environment. Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationAre you willing to travel up to 30% of the time?

Typical Education/Experience
AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
A minimum of a High School Education and 10 to 12 years of work related experience or an equivalent combination of Education and Military experience. Chinook H-47 experience preferred. Currently holds an FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) License.
