Job Title: Quality Technician Requisition Number: 9262 Functional Area: Quality Work Location: Interiors - Bangalore, India Job Description Summary: Reviews instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem, and possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of parts or materials, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies. . Conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions To assist in investigation of root causes for the parts which have failed finctional tests. . Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and suggest to bring back (rework) to meet specifications. . Records test results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method. . Trains personnel for joining/finishing, painting and sub-assembly operations. . Identifies problems in process and notifies Manufacturing Engineer. . Tracks first time through capability (FTTC) within cell such as FT, AR, PPTs. . Identifies new tooling that may improve processes. . Ensures team conformance to organization policies and procedures. . Initiates or recommends plans to motivate employees to achieve goals. . Troubleshoots and solves production issues. . Utilizes knowledge of quallty guidelines , policies and standards in inspection of product. .
