Overview:
Macy's Logistics and Operations a division of Macy's Department Stores, including Macy's and Bloomingdales is currently seeking a talented individual for Director, Big Ticket Workroom and Central Big Ticket Support.
Key Accountabilities:
Working knowledge of stock levels and replishment systems
Understanding of Sales volume, gross margin and turnover objectives
Navigate the Vendor/Buyer community and create strong partnership to be involved at all stages of product development and customer feedback.
Be involved in product design specification to ensure that the Furniture/Bedding design and development meets the needs of the user. Determine a process to evaluate if programs are being operated to design specification.
Negotiate with Vendor/Buyers to ensure proper packaging, quality of merchandise, and RTV credits.
Development and adherence to Workroom Budget
Ensure accurate accounting of workroom related expense
Uniform adherence to FHE planning and workroom standards related to processes and reporting of EXO violations
Improve gross ""In Home"" expense rate
Drive improvement in Service Standards as measured by the In-Home Customer Response Letter score
Manage reverse auction programs related to in home service contracts
Lead the 3.5 Process Management Team for Workroom and Quality
Manage and ensure proper administration of the POTS system
Conduct regular on-site facility reviews of Delivery processes
Provide feedback to the Facility Vice Presidents and Senior Vice President on improvement action points.
Develop tools to analyze and manage the Net Delivery Expense
Work with facilities to improve execution to beat plan
Lead the Route Service Adjustment effort
Development of delivery forecasting tools
Drive and manage quarterly adjustments in each facility
Manage and ensure proper administration of the Customer Response Letters/Tell Us What You Think customer response system (both Delivery and In-Home Service)
Skills Summary:
