This position will be responsible for Region 5. The selected candidate could be based in Ammon / Hayden ID or Billings, Great Falls, or Missoula, MT.,however will be expected to travel to all locations including Bellingham, WA.
Travel- 60% or more travel is expected with this position
Responsible for identifying the necessary marketing communication needs for achieving the centers overall business expansion plans. Executes / Adapts marketing plans developed by the BioLife Marketing Department. Serves as a knowledgeable reference source for all marketing initiatives within the region and company. Tracks the success rates of initiatives, monitors the marketing budget and completes necessary administrative reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
•Orchestrates/Administrates the development and execution of marketing communication materials, both internally and externally, which satisfies the center's business development needs.
•Represents Baxter/BioLife/Plasma Center(s) by taking an active role in the community by visiting with local business leaders, universities and other organizations to increase public awareness of the center's role in the community.
•Monitors the ongoing marketplace needs within the center's demographics and provide recommendations for recruitment and retention activities that should be utilized.
•Budget Compliance: tracks, monitors, and reports marketing expenses on a monthly basis.
•Works cohesively with the BioLife Corporate office to develop thorough yearly marketing plans to achieve the center's recruitment and retention goals.
•Monitors project status with suppliers to assure timely, accurate, and on-budget performance to include inventory usage. Follows-up as appropriate.
•Serves as knowledgeable resource for the daily/monthly marketplace trends within each segment and proactively provide insightful marketing campaign recommendations for customer acquisition. May lead marketing activities on behalf of Center(s).
•Supports the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, initiating changes to center processes as needed, through use of company approved procedures (including but not limited to 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen).
Job Requirements
College degree preferred, Three to five years of marketing and/or business development experience. Experience in participating and/or organizing community activities a plus
•Fundamental knowledge of marketing field basics
•Self-motivated, energetic and creative individual
•Should enjoy serving as a facilitator, speaking in public and meeting with various community business leaders
