RELIABILITY MANAGER
The Reliability Manager is responsible for improving a facilitys manufacturing performance. This is accomplished by reducing machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance through improved equipment reliability. An effective preventative maintenance program is expected. Productivity improvements are also expected as a result of utilizing process tools and knowledge of system capability. Specifically, the program focuses on value creation measured by improved equipment reliability to maximize manufacturing productivity.
The Reliability Manager will also be responsible for:
Enforcing a safe work environment and ensuring maintenance personnel are practicing best safe work practices
Managing and developing a staff of 6 employees
Working with operations leaders to ensure equipment/asset availability that will best meet customer requirements
Directing the supervision of all plant maintenance functions involving equipment, buildings, systems and grounds to include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pipe fitting, and welding
Developing and implementing a predictive and preventive maintenance strategy
Prioritizing work orders for maximum value creation and machine up-time
Assessing mechanic performance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Eligible to work in the United States
At least 3 years of previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing or production environment as a Maintenance Manager/Supervisor or Reliability Manager
Ability to work different shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Willingness to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, bump cap, full leather steel-toed boots, maintenance uniforms, etc.)
Willingness to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment
Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical diploma or Associates degree
Previous experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (i.e., MP2)
Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing printing presses, laminators, and/or die cutters
Working knowledge of PLCs/drives
KNOWLEDGE-SKILLS-ABILITIES
Analytical thinking, problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Technical electrical and mechanical skills capable of assessing machine conditions
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and other maintenance software programs
Preventative and predictive maintenance programs
Parts inventory management and controls
Managing a budget and equipment parts inventory
