Global Services Engineering (GSE) is looking for a Repair Development Engineer to join the GSE Military Team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a multi-discipline IPT to establish repair design requirements.
- Creation of Engineering technical requirements for repairs, including a high level sequence of operations forming the basis for manufacturing operations sheets
- Provide onsite audits, of military repair suppliers and overhaul depots, in support of repair Source Demonstration and tooling qualifications.
- Interface with all Military Programs (F119, F135, F100 etc) to ensure repairs meet or exceed customer's expectations.
- Participate in the prototyping of new repairs.
- Support customer field and supportability issues as required.
- Support engine tear down and inspection evaluations as needed (ACI's).
- Ensure repair tasks are completed to schedule and on budget(EVMS).

A minimum of 3+ years in mechanical design experience. Experience in the use of UG or similar CAD application is required. Exposure to cost & schedule management (EVMS), project engineering experience, or team leadership a plus. Structural analysis experience or knowledge of the P&W Class II EC process, Teamcenter, or ESW is a plus. Experience with manufacturing processes such as plating, plasma spray, welding & brazing is desirable.
