Retrofit & Repair Tech Specialist 4
Develops estimates and analyses for complex modifications, involving multiple impacted systems or platform configurations. Collaborates with internal functions to resolve issues such as parts and material obsolescence or substitution. Manages kit delivery schedule, plan performance and initiates remedial action. Oversees performance of production work centers and suppliers to ensure ""on time"" support to contract deliverables. Reviews overall kit delivery plans and validates contract compliance. Must effectively collaborate with USG customer frequently and build relationships for long term supportability of customer needs. Serves as liaison to Apache design and supporting engineering functions to quickly address program concerns and changes. Serves a program liaison to Contracting functions to ensure Bills of Material are comprehensive and correct, labor estimates support statement of work for diverse functional groups, and that schedules and billing activities remain current,

• Retrofit Kit Req Definition
Extensive, specialized knowledge and capable of performing research on previously modified company products. Develops material and kit parts list requirements. Has extensive, specialized knowledge of customer requirements and resolves complex kit discrepancies. Able to release parts list for processing and ordering. Ability to train others.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Must be willing to travel on occasion to support program needs. Experience with the AH-64 preferred.
