Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a RF Engineer. This is a 6+ month contract assignment in OR. You will need 3+ years of RF design experience in the telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities:
-> The primary function of this position will be to design point-to-point communications paths, or to provide point-to-multipoint areas of reliable mobile radio service. Multipoint service areas may be fixed or mobile radio locations
Requirements:
-> 3+ years of RF engineering experience in the Telecommunications industry
-> Experience designing and implementing mobile radio systems using P25, MPT1327, Astro, EDACS, Digital and Analog Basestations.
-> Experience implementing applicable directional and omnidirectional antennas and choosing appropriate feedline sizes
-> Working knowledge of RF planning process and working with frequency coordinators to acquire the quantity of licenses needed to support a radio system
-> Experience with MapInfo, Google Earth, Pathloss, Planet, or other RF modeling software
